COVID-19 Clinic Operations

Maple Kidz Clinic is closely monitoring the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Maple Kidz Clinic is taking precautions to keep you and your child safe while you are in the clinic.

We are converting our walk-in clinic to a virtual walk-in clinic for our registered patients. You will be asked to register via phone with the reception staff, where they will ask for a phone number or email address. This way the doctor can call you or use video conferencing to do an e-visit with you. The doctor will screen you to see if they can help you this way, or if you need to come to the clinic to be assessed.

Please be patient with us as COVID-19 is a global pandemic and the situation is rapidly changing. We may need to adjust our schedules and/or our plans for the office.

We do not offer COVID-19 testing at Maple Kidz Clinic. You will be directed to other health facilities if testing is required.

Regular Appointments

If you have an upcoming appointment in the next few weeks, WE WILL CONTACT YOU (by email or phone) in advance of your appointment to discuss any changes. Please do not call us – our lines are incredibly busy as we try to shift to these new operations.

We will be converting MOST scheduled appointments to virtual encounters via video conference or telephone calls. Exceptions include:

- Newborn / Well baby check ups and vaccines under age of 2
- Certain situations where a physical examination is critical to determining your care plan
Non-essential visits will be converted to virtual care. Patients will be contacted (by email or phone) to confirm this with you. If using video conferencing, you should expect to receive an email instructing you on how to connect.
